Where is humanity??

Like any usual day I started my morning by having a look at the news. I was deeply shocked to see the news of a 8 year succumbed to child abuse in school. I was shaken and the thought struck me - The world is no more to safe to live.

We are busy in our life encores. Passing day by day, enjoying tentative happiness, gives us one target after another which can pave our way towards another momentary happiness but in the haste towards accomplishing our goals we hardly pay any heed towards the infiltration happening in our worlds unless it "impacts us".

Everything is contaminated be it the food we eat, air we breathe or the society we live in. Rapes, murders, child abuse, child labour, epidemics gradually engulfed our society. And who is responsible for this Us - The humans. I am deeply disdained at the situation we are in. Among us only are the human turned beasts who are devastating this beautiful world. Emotions, compassion, love, care, empathy distinguish a human from a beast but it's shocking to see how some of the humans are transforming into beasts and living among us under the veil so thick  that we can't even identify them.

World is deteriorating day by day just wondering what we will leave behind for our successors. Hope God takes things in his control and does the chemotherapy of this living world.
Hope we see a better tomorrow outside the cocoons of our lives.

Life - Journey towards death

My write-up may sound very depressing but this is not the intent rather this is what I have realised during my journey so far in life.

Every sunrise is followed by sunset and sunset followed by sunrise but the loop does end and that end is Death.

All through our lives we nurture our requirements, chase our dreams. In short strive for something or other. We seek happiness in small, big accomplishments but the underlying fact is life is moving and moving very fast. In our stride towards achieving life's milestones - education, job, marriage, child birth, child's education, his marriage we all are spending days. Each passing day bringing us a day closer to death.
We are so driven by our mood, our ego,our inner self that at times we don't even pay heed to our actions. We hurt people, take others for granted and at times get lost in the vanities of human life.
It's been said that one gets human life after 84 lakhs yonis. This human life makes us suffer our karma and in this human life only we have the opportunity to attain salvation through our karma's.

One who leaves the world creates a void in the lives of his loved ones. A void which can never be filled. And why not what can be more painful than losing someone you love, knowing that you will not be able to see him, hear him again. You probably may not be able to say something you deeply yearned for,you may not be able to apologise, you may not be able to do that one thing... Something or other will always be left unsaid-undone.

Life is neither short nor long but it is limited,it has a expiry date. It's of utmost importance that we watch our actions, give time to our loved ones and most important have compassion and empathy towards others. Hatred grows like cancer unlike love which requires the right set of mind and rationale to pave the path.

Be kind, compassionate and love your life and the people who make it what it is. Think a thousand of times before you act and speak as you can't erase what's done. Remember human life has a bigger purpose and we must not let it go in vain chasing just the materialistic things. Value people, emotions, relationships and be in touch with the almighty.

Rest in peace to all the parted souls and all the best to those who are still travelling.
