The Disgruntled US

Every day we battle with life,
Trying to accomplish what's not destined.

Wandering in the incessant terrain,
We try hard to ascend in vain.

Being blind folded to what we have,
We continue to look for the incandescent lamp.

The voracity to accomplish more,
Keeps us away from our own treasuresome core.

Life comes with a predetermined end,
Oblivious to this fact we forget to cherish what we already have.

Passions, desires, ambitions add more vigor to our lives,
But in the haste to have more we are missing on life.
